Step 01: Open your google play console.

Step 02: Select the app which you want to update and click on the arrow at the right side of that app.

Step 03: To change the app name, descriptions, logo, feature graphics or screenshots, scroll down at the left side and find Store presence and inside that click on Main store listing. 

Step 04: Now, there you will find App details. In that, you can see your App name, Short description and Long description. You can change it if you want else ignore it.

Step 05: After scrolling down, you will get App icon. If you want then change it then click on Replace button else ignore that.

Step 06: Below that, you will get feature graphics. If you want to change that then click on Replace button else ignore that.

Step 07: Scroll down and you will get Phone screenshots. To remove screenshots, click on delete icon which will be at right corner of each screenshots when you place your mouse over it. To upload more screenshots, click on upload button. Like this, change the screenshots of Tablets also and upload new screenshots.

Step 08: Now, to upload your APK or App bundle, scroll up leftside and and click on Production.

Step 09: Then click on Create new release.

Step 10: Then click on upload to upload apk or app bundle.

Step 11: When you apk or app bundle will be uploaded, scroll down and you will see that Release name is filled automatically. You just need to write Release note.

Step 12: After that, click on Save button.

Step 13: After that, click on Review release.

Step 14: A new screen will appear. Click on Start rollout to Production.

Step 15: A pop up will appear. Just click on Rollout.

Step 16: Now, its done. You will redirect to Production page. There in Release, you can see your app version, which is 2(2.0.0), and your app status, which is in review state.

Step 17: In main page, inside all apps, you can also see you app status which is in review.

Since your app is in review, it doesn't mean that your app is removed from playstore. Your previous version of that app will be there in playstore and after review of the updated app, it will be there on playstore automatically.
