Unpublishing app on
Google Play Store
Step I: Open your google play console.
Step II: Select the app which you want to unpublish and then click on the arrow on the right side of that app.
Step III: You will see the status of your app is active. On the left side scrollbar, select Setup and choose Advanced settings.
Step IV: In Advanced Setting, you will see App availability section. By default, it is selected as Published as your app is published on play store.
Simply select Unpublished option and then click on Save changes button at below.
A popup will appear. Select Unpublish button.
At bottom, you will get a message 'Your changes have been saved'.
Come back to main page. In All apps, you will see that the App Status of the app which you unpublished is set to 'Removed by you'.
If you open the app, you will see that the status of the app is inactive.
If you want to publish that app again after few months, simply follow the steps from 1 to 4 and at last, select the published option in App availability and then click on Save changes.
